Since acquiring the Dunlop brand last year, Sumitomo Rubber Industries has busied itself developing new products such as the Dunlop Blue Response TG. But it has also turned its attention to tyres of yesteryear and has declared its interest in the niche but popular classic car market. In April, the company is relaunching the Dunlop SP4, a product first seen in 1975. The tyre will debut in Japan but seems an obvious choice for release in markets such as the UK.
