Droppr raises another 470,000 euros

Must read

Droppr has completed a new capital round of 470,000 euros. The Belgian logistics start-up wants to further develop its matching technology and build deeper integrations with existing transport systems. In addition, Droppr aims for an accelerated rollout in Belgium and neighboring countries.

Droppr has developed its own matching algorithm for pallet transport. “Today, this already takes into account parameters such as location, route, timing and available capacity, and should be even more refined in the next phase. The system links shipments exclusively to carriers that are already in the region, allowing existing journeys to be better filled. This increases the efficiency and profitability of transport, as higher density, more stops within a limited distance, is crucial for a profitable logistics model,” explains co-founder and COO Sanjay Aerts.

Since the official launch on September 1, 2025, more than 1,000 shipments have been matched via the platform. To convince more transporters, Droppr is working on one deeper integration with existing TMS systems. “Transporters will be able to link data directly to their own software, without additional administration or manual actions,” says CEO Lennert Moens. “For shippers it should feel like they are just sending a package. For carriers it should fit seamlessly into their daily operations.” Droppr is also working on an additional module, specifically aimed at transporters. This should provide additional insights into fleet use, network opportunities and potential collaborations.

In the long term, the company wants to grow into a broad European transport network. “The Netherlands is at the top of the list,” says Lennert Moens.
