Australian-based active wheel alignment developer Doftek is expanding its global business by establishing an operation at the MIRA Tech Park in the UK. Doftekâs Active Wheel Alignment (AWATM) innovation automatically controls the geometry of all four wheels of a vehicle in real-time while driving to provide maximum contact between each tyre and the road surface at all times. It achieves this by managing a vehicleâs camber, caster and toe, the key wheel alignment properties that affect handling, stability, tyre wear and emissions. Allowing these settings to be adjusted on the fly optimises grip, comfort and efficiency in real time, thereby improving a vehicleâs fuel efficiency or battery range, enhancing driving enjoyment, increasing safety and reducing running costs.
