BpostGroup has appointed Dieter van Putte (44) as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of her Cross Border-Division. With this new function, the group wants to speed up the digitization and automation of international parcel streams.
Cross Border offers companies an all-in-one solution to send packages across borders, in which transport, customs and taxes often provide the necessary challenges. Technology plays an increasingly important role in this.
Dieter van Putte brings 20 years of experience in technology and digital transformation, gained at Accenture, among others. In his new role, he will focus on strengthening digital platforms, stimulating automation and improving system integration with international partners. The harmonization of data architectures is also high on the agenda, so that BpostGroup customers can count on faster and more predictable deliveries.
