After the success of the first edition, Delhaize is again organizing the Jobevent ’24 hours of Logistics at the end of September. New this year is that not only job seekers, but also students who are looking for an internship in Logistics or Supply Chain are welcome.
Every day more than 2,200 employees ensure that more than 800 stores are supplied with 25,000 products. “Our logistics operations run 24/7 and form the beating heart of Delhaize,” says Johan Ideler, SVP Logistics & Supply Chain.
The event runs from Monday 30 September at 9 am to Tuesday 1 October at 9 am. Visitors can participate in tours in the distribution centers, information sessions and conversations with recruiters and employees. In this way Delhaize wants to highlight the importance of logistics and the role of motivated employees and trainees.
