Cosmo Tires has become the official partner of the Zoo Miami Foundation, aligning with one of South Florida’s leading organisations committed to wildlife conservation, education, and animal welfare. The collaboration holds particular significance for the tyre brand, long associated with the “king of the jungle”, and now extending that symbolism to meaningful support for Zoo Miami’s Sumatran tigers.
The partnership comes at a pivotal moment as Zoo Miami prepares for a major redevelopment of its popular Sumatran tiger habitat. Scheduled to break ground in April 2026, the ambitious expansion will double the habitat’s size, introduce a new Asian‑themed entrance, and feature an immersive viewing pavilion. Additional improvements will include larger outdoor exercise areas, more naturalistic environments, and enhanced visitor experiences with closer viewing points and increased opportunities for educational keeper engagements. The project reflects the Zoo’s sustained commitment to elevating conservation standards and advancing exceptional animal care.
Cosmo Tires’ involvement will bolster these efforts through support for conservation education, daily care of the tigers, and programmes that connect the public to the importance of protecting endangered species. CEO Tony Gonzalez described the partnership as a natural fit: “For a brand that is proudly connected to the king of the jungle, supporting these majestic creatures is an honor. We are beyond the moon to partner with this incredible institution and its mission.”
As part of the collaboration, Cosmo Tires will also participate in key Zoo Miami Foundation events, including Feast with the Beasts and Zoo Run, both of which draw thousands of attendees each year. For Cosmo Tires, the initiative represents more than sponsorship — it reflects a commitment to purpose-driven action and a belief that strong brands stand for something larger than themselves.
