Continental Tire announced that its group sector has appointed two new managers. Jana Striezel took over global purchasing at Continental Tires, while Dennis Bellmund became head of the tire manufacturer’s global original equipment business. Both report directly to Christian Kötz, member of the executive board of Continental AG and head of the tires group sector.
“We’re delighted to welcome Jana Striezel, a highly skilled manager, to our team. She brings extensive expertise in international procurement and will focus on driving forward our purchasing strategy,” said Kötz. “In Dennis Bellmund, our global original equipment business has gained a highly experienced leader. He is familiar with our company and our customers’ needs from many different angles. On behalf of the entire management team, I wish both of them every success in their new roles and look forward to working together.”

In her new position, Striezel is responsible for strategic and operational purchasing for Continental Tires worldwide. A trained lawyer, she previously held several management positions in procurement at Renault. She headed purchasing for the Renault brand and the alliance with Nissan and Mitsubishi in Europe. From May 2024 to June 2025, she also served on the supervisory board of Renault Deutschland GmbH.
Her career in the automotive industry began in 2014 at Volkswagen.
Bellmund now heads the passenger-car and commercial-vehicle original equipment business for Continental Tires. His predecessor, Manja Greimeier, transitioned on Sept. 1 to Continental’s ContiTech group sector.
“I would like to thank Greimeier for her successful leadership of our original equipment business and wish her all the best and continued success,” said Kötz.
Bellmund brings 25 years of experience at Continental, holding various management positions in Germany and abroad. Most recently, he led Continental’s tire retail operations. Earlier, he managed supply chain operations in the EMEA region and served as sales director for international customers in the European replacement tire business.
