The Continental Automotive group sector, which from September 2025 will become an independent company known as Aumovio, has signed an agreement to sell its drum brake production and R&D location in Cairo Montenotte, Italy to Mutares SE & Co. KGaA. It expects the transaction to close in the fourth quarter of this year, at which time Mutares will take over all employees and business activities.
