This year’s ‘best logistics building’ is the fully automated high-rise warehouse in Kuurne of frozen food company Coldo. This highbay is 47 meters high, has 60,000 pallet spaces and a roof parking lot. The building focuses on automation, efficiency and sustainability, including through heat recovery and smart cooling techniques.
In second and third place
Eutraco’s high bay in Roeselare finished in second place. This high-rise building focuses on automation and space efficiency. The building combines automation with a compact design, resulting in 62% more storage capacity on a small surface area. It thus offers a solution to the scarcity of industrial land and labor shortages.
Altrea Logistics Group finally developed an innovative hub for chemical products with Alochem. The project combines various logistics functions in one location. Sustainability plays a key role, and there is also a strong focus on automation, digitalization with real-time monitoring and AI applications and extensive quality control.
The Logistics Building of the Year 2026 is supported by Boplan and Trova.
