Circtec opens Phase 1 of 200,000 tonne ELT recycling plant

Must read

We’re told that the new Circtec tyre chemical recycling plant in Farmsum, the Netherlands, is the largest of its kind in Europe, possibly even the world. King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands officially opened this superlative facility on 27 January at a ceremony in which he commenced operations by feeding waste tyres into a CIFR pyrolysis reactor, a proprietary Circtec chemical recycling technology that converts tyre waste into high value new products. The British Ambassador to the Netherlands also attended the official opening, along with the Netherlands Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Climate and Green Growth.
