Car production in China hit an all-time high of 3,276,000 units in September, up from 2,815,000 units in August of 2025. In the 20 years from 2005 to 2025, car production in China averaged 1,495,022.55 units a month. And the record low was 195000 units in February of 2020, according to China Association of Automobile Manufacturers data.
