With its US$225 million acquisition of Camso having concluded on 1 September 2025, Ceat is positioned to significantly broaden its reach in construction and track solutions. Speaking about the freshly minted deal earlier this month, Amit Tolani, Chief Executive of Ceat Specialty, notes that Camso builds on Ceat’s historic strength in agricultural tyres by bringing construction tracks, agri tracks and construction tyres into the portfolio. “Together, we are now a single, integrated partner for OEMs looking for a complete off-highway mobility offering.” The addition of Camso delivers the cherry on top for a company that is already growing at a faster rate than its competitors.
