Yusen Logistics has announced the appointment of Belgian Bruno Jacques as CEO of its Healthcare business for Europe. He will also become deputy director general of Yusen Logistics Europe. This appointment follows the official takeover of the French group Walden.
Bruno Jacques joined Yusen Logistics in 2018 as Managing Director of Yusen Logistics Benelux and Nordics, where he oversaw the acquisitions of Parts Express, Ajimex and Groupe Pierre, among others. At the beginning of 2024 he was also responsible for Germany and Switzerland. In his new role, he will focus on integrating the Walden group into Yusen Logistics Healthcare Europe, accelerating growth in the Europe region and supporting the global expansion of healthcare logistics services.
“This is an important moment for our organization. We are joining forces, expertise and passion of teams that share a strong commitment to patients, customers and operational excellence. I am honored by this position and excited about the opportunities this combination of skills will create across our network. With the integration of Walden into Yusen Logistics Europe, we are building something solid and meaningful for the future,” says Bruno Jacques, who can count on a management team consisting of (from left to right in the photo) Lode Cornelissen (Information Systems Director), Kosuke Tanamoto (PMI Manager), Inés Iglesias (Human Resources Director) and Timmy Adriaens (Financial Director).
