Bridgestone has been selected as the exclusive tire partner for the Lamborghini Fenomeno supercar. Only 29 units are in production, powered by a 1080 CV engine capable of reaching 0-100 km/h (approx. 0-60 MPH) in 2.4 seconds and 0-200 km/h (approx. 0-120 MPH) in 6.7 seconds.
As Lamborghini’s “Official Technical Partner,” Bridgestone said it engineered bespoke Potenza tires to complement the most powerful V12 engine ever produced by the automaker.
Custom Bridgestone Potenza Fitments for the Lamborghini Fenomeno
The Fenomeno features Bridgestone Potenza Sport ultra-high performance tires in 265/30 ZRF21 (front) and 355/25 ZRF22 (rear) sizes. These tires provide high-speed stability, precise steering, and control to manage the supercar’s 1080HP output, Bridgestone said.
The tire also incorporates Bridgestone’s Run Flat Technology (RFT).
Lamborghini will also offer bespoke, semi-slick Bridgestone tires for the Fenomeno. Fully homologated for public roads, these high-grip tires deliver track-level performance and will be available in 20- and 21-inch sizes, the company said.
“Our long-standing partnership with Lamborghini is rooted in a shared passion for innovation, excellence and top performance,” said Radoslaw Bolkowski, vice president of original equipment (OE) sales at Bridgestone. “Our team had the challenge of unleashing the full potential of Lamborghini’s most powerful V12 ever, and they’ve delivered. The custom-engineered Bridgestone Potenza tires offer the control, grip and precision needed to enhance this car’s exceptional capabilities.”
“At Lamborghini, design and performance go hand in hand. With Bridgestone, we have a partner who understands both,” said Christian Mastro, Lamborghini’s marketing director. “Tires are a vital part of how a supercar performs. Outside of technical updates, 70% of the improvements in these cars today come from advances in the tires they sit on.”
Continuing Partnership With Lamborghini
The Bridgestone Lamborghini Fenomeno collaboration extends a five-year partnership that includes Lamborghini’s Huracán STO, STJ, Tecnica, EVO, Sterrato, Revuelto, and Temerario models.
Sustainability in Tire Development
Bridgestone made the bespoke Potenza fitments in Italy using its Virtual Tyre Development (VTD) technology. Bridgestone said VTD reduces reliance on physical prototypes, cuts raw material use, and lowers CO2 emissions.
