In the United States, Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations, LLC (BATO), a subsidiary of Bridgestone Corporation, has filed a voluntary noncompliance report with the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and implemented an associated recall. The recall involves approximately 1742 tyres, of which half (856 tyres) are expected to be affected. The tyres were manufactured at BATO’s Wilson, North Carolina facility between 26 October and 8 November 2025 (production weeks 43 and 44). The product line in question is the Firestone Destination LE3, size 265/70R17, which is reportedly designed primarily for aftermarket fitment on light trucks, crossovers, and SUVs.
