Boss Paints takes two electric MAN TGS into use

Must read

MAN South Flanders recently delivered two MAN eTGS to Boss Paints. This concerns 20,449 4×2 BL CH trucks, each equipped with four battery packs, and they are the first electric MAN chassis vehicles in Belgium.

Boss Paints, based in Waregem, is a Belgian manufacturer of paints and color collections. As a family business with 80 years of experience, it focuses on both professional painters and private individuals. In addition, Boss Paints is also the driving force behind Colora stores.

“The collaboration between Boss Paints and MAN South Flanders is built on shared family values,” explains Mathieu Delbeke (Sales Manager). “Thanks to reliable products and smooth service, this relationship has grown into a sustainable partnership — with MAN today supplying more than half of the total fleet. By choosing two electric MAN eTGS trucks, Boss Paints is taking a clear step towards emission-free, efficient and future-oriented logistics.”

The two vehicles cover a daily driving schedule of 250 to 300 kilometers. They are charged at home as Boss Paints has many solar panels and has invested in 50 kW chargers.
