At the end of January, it emerged that Black Star, the French retreader that took over Bridgestone’s former Béthune tyre plant – has entered “Procédure de sauvegarde” (safeguarding procedure). That included a 2 March deadline for takeover offers. Now, the firm administrating the safeguarding proceedings, AJC, has launched another call for tender, with a deadline for offers set at 12 noon on 8 April 2026.
