BKT has appointed Jay Dhillon as the new USA president, effective Sept. 29. Dhillon brings more than 20 years of global tire industry experience to the role and will lead the Ohio-based subsidiary as it expands in the U.S. off-highway tire market.
BKT said Dhillon will focus on long-term strategy, entering new and existing markets, and aligning business units with company goals. He will also develop strategic partner relationships to support sustainable growth.
“I am excited to join the BKT team and contribute to its forward-looking growth,” Dhillon said. “My goal is to lead the team and drive success during this dynamic time while upholding the company’s commitment to quality, innovation, and excellence.”
BKT said it expects steady U.S. growth under Dhillon’s leadership by building on its reputation for quality, reliability, and customer trust. The company plans to expand market presence, strengthen product offerings, and provide increased support for employees and customers alike.
Effective Oct. 1, Minoo Mehta will transition to senior advisor for BKT’s truck and bus radial tire business in the U.S. This advisory role supports BKT’s roadmap to 2030. That includes the development and launch of new TBR product lines, the company said.
BKT thanked Mehta for his leadership and contributions to the company’s growth during his tenure.
According to BKT, the appointment of a new USA president and Mehta’s shift strengthen the company’s strategy.
