BendPak Showcases Equipment Advancements at SEMA Booth

Must read

BendPak used its SEMA booth to spotlight its shop equipment, with product development director Sean Price outlining the updates.

The centerpiece was a prototype eight-arm Octa-Flex two-post lift equipped with eight arms. It features 12,000-lb. primary arms paired with 6,000-lb. auxiliary arms and is engineered to support cab-off work, subframe removal and EV battery service. Price said the expanded arm configuration gives technicians more stability and flexibility when removing components from beneath a vehicle.

The company also introduced a leverless de-beader kit for its tilt-back tire changers. The add-on replaces traditional tire irons with a powered mechanism that automatically grabs and lifts the bead. Customers can add it to existing BendPak tilt-back changers or order it on new machines.

BendPak’s wheel balancer updates centered on protecting modern wheel finishes. New flange plates clamp wheels using lug-nut pressure points rather than contacting the face, reducing the risk of scratching polished or powder-coated surfaces. The plates work with both current and previously sold BendPak balancers.
