For the past two years, the Bekaert Recycled Content Standard has “served as an important industry benchmark” and enabled suppliers and customers to implement traceability systems and more sustainable practices in steel tyre reinforcement. Bekaert notes that its “foundational work” on this standard contributed to ISCC’s decision to expand its certification framework to steel products, and the company has now gained ISCC Plus certification for its steel tyre reinforcement products.
