Forklift specialist B-Close enters into an exclusive cooperation with the Italian manufacturer OMG, specialized in customer-specific internal transport solutions. With this partnership, B-Close wants to better serve its customers in Belgium and Luxembourg for complex logistics issues, such as working in limited spaces or the handling of exceptionally heavy or long loads.
The collaboration fits in with B-Close’s broader strategy to not only deliver standard devices, but total solutions that start from the reality in the workplace. “Our customers are not looking for a device from a catalog, but a solution that really works in their specific situation,” says CEO Eric Maertens. “OMG delivers customization from zero, perfectly tailored to the logistics environment of the customer.”
Examples include pallet trucks with special fork designs for heavy, round loads such as metal coils, and Meerweg reach trucks that can move long goods in several directions in narrow corridors. These technologies are always tailor -made and built.
B-Close thereby evolves further towards an advisory role, whereby technical specialists together with the customer analyze how internal logistics can be more efficient and safer. The OMG brand comes in the list of strategic B-Close partners such as Kärcher (Industrial Cleaning) and JMG (Pick-and-Carry Kranen).
