Last weekend Alumac and Astemac celebrated the five -year anniversary of their location in Froyennes (Tournai) with the festive High5 Event. More than 500 visitors enjoyed demonstrations, substantive sessions and networking moments, with which the business group put its growth trajectory and future plans in the spotlight.
What started in 2020 as a French-speaking expansion of the West-Flemish Alumac Construct, is today a full-fledged hub for freight and van structure, containers, spraying and laser work and recently also rays and metallizing. Under the impetus of Imani Crombez and Roy Algoet, Astemac grew into a reference in the region. The site of more than 25,000 m² is the result of targeted investments and a pronounced focus on customization, speed and diversification.
During the event it was also announced that the location is now a recognized service point for HIAB and Multilift. Visitors could also get acquainted with the innovative Hiskill VR crane operation from HIAB.
The roots of the parent company Alumac Construct are in West Flanders with race entrepreneur Stefaan Crombez at the helm and wife, Sandrien Carette, by his side.
In addition to the business ambitions, the companies also showed their warm side. Two charities – L’envol and ‘A Blade for Fiene’ – were allowed to count on more than 16,000 euros in support. “We are ready for the future, but remain who we are: a family business with our feet on the floor and the heart in the right place,” said Imani Crombez.
