AGRIMAX PROHARVEST Tire Reduces Soil Compaction

Must read

In modern agriculture, optimizing yields and protecting soil health are critical during harvest. Heavy equipment like combines puts intense stress on tires. That stress creates two key challenges: maintaining efficiency and preventing soil compaction. The AGRIMAX PROHARVEST tire from BKT addresses both, the manufacturer said.

Grain tank load changes can stress tires. This often leads to faster wear or damage from debris. Compaction from heavy machinery also damages soil structure, lowering future yields. BKT said it engineered the AGRIMAX PROHARVEST tire to solve these issues with performance and eco-friendliness in mind.

Technology That Preserves Soil and Tire Life

BKT said it built the tire with VF (Very High Flexion) technology. VF lets the tire carry 40% more load at the same pressure as a standard tire. This spreads weight more evenly and protects the soil. BKT also included a reinforced casing and triple steel belts to reduce deformation and resist stress.

The tire’s compound resists cuts and chips, lowering puncture risks. Its tread features open shoulders for traction and self-cleaning on wet terrain. Even on the road, the tire handles well, offering even wear and comfort. CFO (Cyclic Field Operations) technology lets it handle short-term overloads safely.

AGRIMAX PROHARVEST Tire: Built for Sustainability and Long-Term Savings

According to BKT’s Dilip Vaidya, the AGRIMAX PROHARVEST tire’s large footprint helps lower soil pressure. The durable compound and design extend tire life and reduce replacement needs. That results in less resource use and lower environmental impact.

BKT said its latest tire delivers a sustainable, long-lasting solution for farmers who want to protect their land while maximizing productivity.
