Agrii, the UK’s leading provider of agronomy services, technology and strategic advice, has expanded its fleet with five new IVECO eDaily 7.2-tonne curtainside electric vehicles, further demonstrating its commitment to reducing its carbon footprint.

The new eDaily vans will be used to deliver products and equipment to Agrii’s customers. Each vehicle is powered by four modular batteries, totalling 148kWh, providing a maximum range of up to 248 miles. The vans also feature 80kW fast charging, which can add an extra 62 miles of range in just 30 minutes. Clever battery placement within the truck-based chassis ensures that load space remains uncompromised, combining electric efficiency with practical usability.

In addition, all five eDaily vehicles are fitted with ultra-thin, flexible, shatterproof Trailar solar panels mounted on the roof of the body. These panels generate up to 500kWh annually, the equivalent of more than three full charges, helping to further extend vehicle range and reduce reliance on grid electricity.

The eDaily vans were supplied by South West Truck & Van under a seven-year Repair & Maintenance contract, complemented by IVECO’s eDaily battery warranty. This warranty covers 155,000 kilometres and guarantees at least 80% of original battery capacity for up to eight years.

Richard Pinnock, National Distribution Manager at Agrii, said: “Agrii has a CO2 reduction target on its distribution fleet of 36.7% by 2032. The five new eDaily will remove 83 tonnes of CO2 per annum, which represents 10% of this target. We’re making good progress!”

Mike Cutts, Business Line Director Full Range UK & ROI at IVECO UK, added: “Since its launch in 2022, our eDaily offering has gone from strength to strength, with an ever-increasing number of operators proving that their missions can be all-electric.”

Agrii’s eDaily fleet was recently recognised at the 2025 IVECO Mission Awards, taking home the trophy in the Delivery & Distribution category, highlighting the company’s ongoing innovation in sustainable transport solutions.

With these additions, Agrii continues to lead the way in low-emission logistics, combining practical delivery capabilities with cutting-edge electric vehicle technology to meet ambitious carbon reduction targets while maintaining service excellence.
