Th Trucks has delivered a new DAF XG+ truck to transport company Locatrans from Zulte. This 6 × 2, equipped with an engine of 530 hp, is used for temperature-controlled transport with a two-axle trailer. The special thing about this order was that the customer wanted to reuse the cooling building of the old XF, who had served to full satisfaction for seven years. Thomas van de Veegaete (Account Manager at TH Trucks Kortrijk) therefore ensured that DAF supplied a customized wheelbase, so that the structure perfectly matched this chassis with extended cabin. The cooling structure was fully overhauled at Cardever in Menen, which did the same with the trailer. A good example of customization!
