On Saturday, September 13, Van Dievel Transport in Mechelen organized a special event: Van Dievel Connect. It was a day where customers, partners, schools, applicants and employees came together to not only get to know the company, but also to taste the future of safe and healthy transport.
Van Dievel Connect was conceived as an open door and job day, but soon grew into much more. Representatives from VDAB, various schools and partners such as Volvo Trucks were present. This created a unique cross -pollination between the business community, education and the transport sector.
On the site, visitors were given a look behind the scenes of the transport company and they were able to talk to drivers and colleagues from various services. For job seekers, the event offered a low -threshold opportunity to get acquainted with the job of truck driver and with the corporate culture at Van Dievel Transport.

Van Dievel explicitly placed safety on the agenda during the event. In this way, visitors were able to get acquainted with the mirror adjusting place on the site, where drivers learn how to correctly adjust their mirrors to avoid blind spot accidents.
