TL Hub/Construction Hub 300: Candidates on the Job Day of 8 May!

Must read

TL Hub and Construction Hub, the two platforms that connect employers and job seekers in the Transport, Logistics and Bouw sectors, organized a Job Day on 8 May. The rise of candidates was particularly large.

The Job Day of 8 May was created in collaboration with TransportMedia and VDAB and brought TL Hub and Construction Hub together. “There are often bridges between the two sectors. Drivers or warehouseers can work both in construction and in transport and logistics. Thirteen companies were present: seven from transport and logistics, six from construction. They met no fewer than 300 candidates, double the ‘classic’ job day,” explains Kim Lousberg, Project Manager at TL Hub,.

“Qualified candidates”

There was also a carrier Gheeraert among the companies present. Stefaan de Vestele, Chro: “We were looking for C and CE drivers for the distribution of palletized goods in East Flanders and Antwerp, and to warehouseers for our new depot in Sint-Niklaas, Europa Zuid, which will be operational in the first quarter of 2026. We have not yet held five. It was the first participation of the company in a Job Day, but it is probably planning to also participate in the next edition, on 27 May in Genk. “For us, the Job Day in Antwerp was creating a form of name recognition and scanning the labor market. We will certainly participate in more of these days, especially with a view to the opening of our new logistics platform in Sint-Niklaas,” S. adds the Vestele.

Another employer present was Aertssen. Kristel Devriendt, Recruitment Manager: “The searched profiles were very varied: drivers, site leaders, workers … The advantage of this job day is that both sectors – in which we ourselves are active – are combined: construction and transport/logistics. We have spoken a lot of candidates, which we were constantly on the present. The profiles of the priorities of the priorities of the profiles of the profiles of the profiles of the profiles of the profiles of the priorities of the priorities of the priorities of the priorities of the priorities of the priorities of the priorities of the priorities of the priorities of the priorities of the priorities. Job Day really worth it. ”

The next Job Day for Transport and Logistics will take place on 27 May in the Atrium in Genk. The construction sector will receive its turn on 11 September during Matexpo in Kortrijk. Appointment there!
