All-season tyres become casualty of depressed UK market

Amidst challenges experienced within the local tyre market, we’ve become accustomed to taking solace in slow but steady all-season segment growth. For this reason, it is particularly hard to find good news within the figures that the market research analysts at NielsenIQ and GfK (NIQ) have released for the period covering January to the end of August. These show a year-on-year decline in the all-season market that outstrips the overall UK market downturn for passenger, SUV and light truck tyres.
