Yokohama Rubber announced that a vehicle equipped with its GEOLANDAR tires claimed the overall championship at the Asia Cross Country Rally 2025 (AXCR). The GEOLANDAR M/T G003 mud-terrain tires, designed for SUVs and pickup trucks, also powered overall champions in 2022 and 2023.
The #112 Mitsubishi Triton from Team Mitsubishi Ralliart, driven by Chayapon Yotha with co-driver Peerapong Sombutwong, took the top spot. Mitsubishi’s global one-ton pickup truck started strong, ranking second after the first two legs. By Leg 3, the team surged ahead and defended their lead through to the final Leg 8.
