Emily Coenegrachts becomes CEO of Traxio

On September 15, Emily Coenegrachts will officially start as CEO of Mobility Federation Traxio. The position was vacant since November 2020, when Pieter van Bastelaere left Traxio.

Emily Coenegrachts was managing director of Keolis until August 2025 and has also been director at VIAS for years. “With her many years of experience in various sectors in both national and international level, Emily Coeneglachts brings a fresh vision of mobility and strong leadership qualities to the federation,” said Henri de Hemptinne, chairman of Traxio. She will report to the administrative body and the strategic committee, and will work closely with the management team and with general manager Luc Missante, who mainly focuses on social consultation, patronal matters and financial management.

“I feel honored to take on this role within an organization that supports entrepreneurs in the mobility sector so powerfully,” says Emily Coenegrachts. “Our members are in the middle of the practice of mobility every day. Together with the team, I want their voice to sound even stronger in the political and social debate – and assist them to successfully undertake in this rapidly changing world. As a federation, we have a key role in connecting our entrepreneurs, government and society – I am looking forward to the Mobility Mobility.
