Bridgestone issues back to school warning with millions making school run on illegal tyres

Bridgestone has urged parents resuming school run duties next week to carry out vital tyre checks necessary to keep their families safe. The tyre manufacturer’s latest research revealed that 63 per cent of motorists will wait until their car fails its MOT before replacing tyres, while 11 per cent admit to driving on bald, illegal tyres before replacing them. With millions of parents set to take their children to and from the school gates next week, Bridgestone says the time is right to uncover this often-hidden danger.
