BKT has completed a Five Star Occupational Health and Safety Audit conducted by the British Safety Council. This recognition highlights BKT’s commitment to improving its health and safety management systems, it said.
BKT underwent a comprehensive evaluation of its occupational health and safety policies, processes, and practices. The audit included a review of documentation, interviews with senior management, employees, and stakeholders, and sampling of operational activities.
BKT Health and Safety Five-Star Rating For Bhuj Plant
The British Safety Council measured BKT’s performance against health and safety management best practice indicators and reviewed over fifty component elements. Following the audit, the BKT Bhuj plant earned a five-star rating, marking its status as a best practice organization.
“The award of a five-star grading following our occupational best practice Health and Safety Audit is an outstanding achievement. It is reflective of a proactive organization which is committed to continual improvement in its health and safety arrangements and managing risks to workers’ health, safety and wellbeing,” Mike Robinson, CEO British Safety Council said.
