Last year Hospital Logistics was still for sale, but the board of directors eventually opted for a restart, with extra investments, and Erwin Bormans (56) as a new CEO, in succession to Filip Cuypers. After a career of 33 years in the Limburg hospital world, Erwin Bormans started in June at the logistics company in Aarschot.
“From my background as a hospital director I understand very well what the importance of the service of Hospital Logistics,” he says. “If we do not deliver well on time or not, processes in hospitals will be compromised. In short, I understand the challenges of our customers.”
