VRD Logistics from Temse has ordered 19 new DAFs from Truck Trading van den Keybus in Belsele: 15 xd 290 FA tractors and 4 xf 480 ft box trucks. For the structure of the box trucks, an appeal was made to Baetens from Lokeren.
VRD has a fleet of more than 110 distribution vehicles and 55 tractor-trailer combinations, of which 43% DAF. That speaks volumes about the good cooperation with DAF Trucks and with dealer Van den Keybus. “I ordered my first truck from them in 1987. In the meantime we have completed the 400 -ordered vehicles, “says Raoul van Raemdonck van VRD.” We have put a series of 14 DAF XD 290 FA tractors into use and our drivers were very satisfied with the driving comfort and the view from the cabin that benefits safety. It is a well -considered decision to order 19 additional DAFs. “
A milestone has also been reached with this order with this order. “We reach the jubilee of 300 built -up vehicles for VRD. Just like Raoul and I have an excellent relationship the next generation Mathias and Liesbeth van Raemdonck and Wouter Baetens. The good relationships are therefore passed on from generation to generation,” says Hilaire Baetens.
