NEXEN TIRE received a Gold rating from EcoVadis for the second consecutive year. The award places the company among the top 3% of more than 150,000 companies assessed worldwide.

Founded in France in 2007, EcoVadis evaluates corporate sustainability performance. Its system ranks companies as Platinum (top 1%), Gold (top 5%), Silver (top 15%), and Bronze (top 35%). EcoVadis said NEXEN TIRE achieved strong, balanced improvements across all assessment areas.

EcoVadis said NEXEN TIRE showed strong and balanced improvements across all four EcoVadis assessment pillars: Environment, Labor and Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement. These gains reflect the company’s long-term investment in ESG systems and strategies.

In the Environment category, NEXEN TIRE earned praise for its climate efforts. The company participates in global initiatives such as the Global Platform for Sustainable Natural Rubber (GPSNR), the UN Global Compact (UNGC) and the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).

The company also received recognition for climate education programs and transparent greenhouse gas emissions reporting across all scopes.

Commitment to Human Rights and Ethical Standards

In the Labor & Human Rights category, NEXEN TIRE aligned its policies with international standards, including those of the United Nations and International Labour Organization (ILO). The company said it launched human rights assessments to improve its risk management framework.

In the Ethics category, the company reinforced its systems for risk prevention, monitoring and mitigation. Its Sustainable Procurement score improved through ESG supplier assessments, audits and proactive risk strategies.
