During its recent mid-year board meeting, the Tire Industry Association (TIA) voted to elect Gary Schroeder of Bob Sumerel Tire Co. to serve as Secretary. An active member of the TIA Board since 2021, Schroeder will officially begin his term on 3 November during the board of directors meeting in Las Vegas ahead of the 2025 Global Tire Expo/SEMA Show. His election to secretary also positions him in the TIA officer rotation, placing him on track to serve as TIA President for the 2027–2028 term.
