Apollo Tyres has launched its newest Ultra-High Performance (UHP) tire, the Apollo Aspire 5. Developed and manufactured in India, the Aspire 5 serves both domestic and international markets.
India’s UHP tire market, comprising 17-inch and above rim sizes with W/Y speed ratings, is undergoing major changes driven by the rise in luxury car ownership, Apollo said. Consumers now demand tires that offer not just performance, but also quieter and more comfortable rides.
Apollo Aspire 5 Designed for Luxury and Electric Vehicles
The Apollo Aspire 5 is available in sizes ranging from 17 to 20 inches, catering to most luxury vehicles in the market. Designed for Indian road conditions, it has undergone testing in Europe, India, Japan and Korea. The tire is also ready for electric vehicles, Apollo said.

Engineered With OEMs for Precision and Comfort
Co-developed with leading OEMs, Apollo said the Aspire 5 leverages industry insights and consumer feedback. Apollo Tyres produced the Aspire 5 at its plant in Andhra Pradesh.
The tire incorporates Dynamic Contour Technology for physical and acoustic comfort and features a Tri-Flex Compound that enhances high-speed grip and stability, Apollo said.
Apollo Tyres said this launch aims to boost its position in India’s passenger car radial replacement market. The UHP tire will be available through Apollo-branded retail outlets starting in July. Apollo said it plans to introduce it to global markets, including Europe and other parts of Asia.
