Pirelli H89 EVO Series Launches for North American Fleets

Must read

The Pirelli H89 EVO Series has officially launched in the North American market through Prometeon Tyre Group Commercial Solutions. Prometeon designs, manufactures, and sells Pirelli-branded truck, agricultural, and off-the-road tires in the United States and Canada.

Engineered for long-haul applications, Pirelli said the H89 EVO Series has completed extensive testing across North America. The series includes steer/all-position and drive position options, replacing the H89 Plus Steer and Drive products. All standard sizes are available.

Designed for Long-Haul Fuel Efficiency and Mileage

Prometeon equipped the Pirelli H89 EVO Series with technology tailored for North American fleets, it said.

Pirelli said the tire includes a proprietary Spiral Advanced Technology for Truck (SATT) and a new compound formulation to enhance handling and vehicle control in all weather conditions.

Durable Tread Technology

The H89 EVO Series includes a defensive decoupling groove that protects the tire shoulder from irregular wear. This design increases durability and extends the life of the tire, said Pirelli.

With siped ribs and a widened tread width, the tire delivers an optimized footprint. This promotes even wear and high mileage—which Pirelli said are key concerns for long-haul operators.

New base compounds help reduce rolling resistance and minimize heat buildup. These enhancements contribute to fuel savings and enable retreadability.
