This weekend is all about a party at Nebim, the Volvo Trucks dealer with four branches in Belgium. Last night the opening evening of the festivities took place for customers and friends.
With 93 employees in Belgium, spread over four branches (Ghent, Ninove, Zele and Zwevegem), Nebim sold 255 trucks last year and processed 21,000 workplace visits. This success story started 25 years ago. “We officially started on January 1, 2000, after the spin -off of the three concessions in the Dutch province of Limburg of the ‘Dutch company car Import Maatschappij’, the former importer of Volvo Trucks in the Netherlands,” explains founder Diederik Nolten. ”Since 2007 we have also been active in Belgium, where we first took over Malfoot Trucks and then Belaen. In retrospect I realize that we had to dare to, but as we say with us: ‘Without a bluff, life is drowsy’.
Reginald Malfoot is today Belgian director of Nebim and has therefore contributed directly to the establishment of the brand in the country. “We focus entirely on quality and service to show locally what a brand represents like Volvo Trucks.” To achieve that, Nebim trusts a competent and motivated team. “We are launching initiatives to strengthen the team spirit and invest in training. That already starts in technical education, where we make expertise and trucks available, and is continuing with optimum training for our employees. Thanks to this model we can offer our customers a very high level. It has also delivered the title ‘Employer of the year’!”
On the occasion of its 25th anniversary, Nebim presented a special, extra-equipped series of the Volvo FH Aero, who will undoubtedly appeal to lovers of exclusive trucks.
