The new series of lightweight trailers Evolution by Berger Fahrzeugtechnik Put from the technical expertise of Schmitz Cargobull: the chassis remains specific to Berger, but the structure is supplied by Schmitz Cargobull.
The first model that benefits from this combination is the Berger PerformanceToil for the transport of roles. With its 8200 mm long pit, the performance coil is specially designed for the transport of steel and metal coils with a diameter of 800 to 2100 mm. In the lightest version, it only weighs 4.8 tons.
“Thanks to the universal structure of Schmitz Cargobull, it is also suitable for a wide range of applications, including the transport of drinks, vehicles and tires, but also for the transport of chemicals in Octabins and the transport of grain,” said Gerhard Berger, co -founder of Bergerecotrail. Without stewing all -rounds, the bodywork meets the ‘DIN EN 12642 Code XL’ standard for loading, thanks to the vertical and horizontal reinforcements in the side sails. As an option, the customer can opt for a reinforced Power Curtain sail system from Schmitz Cargobull.
