Nexen Tire’s Roadian HTX2 Selected as OE for Kia Tasman Pickup Truck

Must read

Nexen Tire announced that the Roadian HTX2 tire has been selected as original equipment (OE) for the Kia Tasman. Designed for SUVs and pickups, the all-season Roadian HTX2 will fit on Tasman models exported to Latin America.

Engineered for Demanding SUV and Pickup Conditions

To handle the varied driving needs of pickups, the manufacturer applied its latest proprietary technology to the Roadian HTX2 tire. The tire features a patented 3D Kerf pattern that enhances snow performance and traction. A heat-dissipating structure improves high-speed durability, especially under high-load conditions.

The compound boosts wear resistance, strength, and driving stability – key traits for today’s rugged pickup applications.

Nexen Roadian HTX2 Tire: Tested for Harsh Roads and Steep Terrain

Nexen said it put the Roadian HTX2 through a rigorous testing process. The tire passed cross-validation wear tests in North America and Korea. It also cleared deep groove off-road testing with 200mm surface irregularities and steep 20% inclines.

These results prove the tire’s mileage potential and its ability to perform across Latin America’s challenging terrain, including mountains, deserts, and seasonal roads, Nexen said.

Beyond the Tasman, Nexen also supplies OE tires for Kia’s EV lineup, including the EV3, EV4, EV6, and EV9.
