To arm transport and logistics companies against cybercrime, ING Belgium is organizing a number of targeted information sessions in June and October. Under the title ‘Open for business, closed to cyber attacks’ the bank focuses on concrete threats and practical solutions.
Digitalization in the transport and logistics sector is accelerating, but it also increases the risk of cyber attacks. One wrong click is enough to halt processes, resulting in major financial and reputational damage. During the sessions, Danny Moerenhout, Senior Anti-Fraud Expert at ING, outlines how cybercrime targets the sector and what impact this can have on your daily operations. The role of artificial intelligence is also discussed: from opportunities to new risks.
Depending on the location, the program is supplemented with a contribution from ethical hacker Inti De Ceukelaire, who discusses ‘Artifhacking Intelligence’, or with a critical and humorous view on AI by computer scientist Jeroen Baert.
The information sessions will take place on June 1 in Ghent, June 2 in Aarschot, June 9 in Antwerp and October 22 in Roeselare, each from 6:15 PM to 10:30 PM.
