SSI SCHAEFER records record year with 2.1 billion euros in order inflow

Must read

The SSI SCHAEFER Group achieved a record order inflow of 2.1 billion euros in the 2025 financial year, an increase of 8.5% compared to the previous year. This means that the intralogistics specialist, based in Leuven, has achieved the highest order volume in its history. The turnover of 1.7 billion euros remains below the 2024 level.

The strong growth was mainly driven by the Logistics Solutions and Customer Services business units, which each increased by more than 14%. Customer Services exceeded the threshold of half a billion euros in orders for the first time. A notable contribution also came from a major project in the US, worth approximately 250 million euros.

Earnings before tax (EBT) increased by 18.2%, thanks to operational improvements, higher production capacity and tight cost management. Yet turnover remained stuck at 1.7 billion euros, below the level of the previous year. This is partly due to postponed project deliveries within Logistics Solutions, which are postponed to 2026.

Not all activities had the same dynamics. The Products & Equipment business unit continues to operate in a challenging market with moderate demand and strong competition. Although the Plastics division also saw a slight increase in orders and better results, it is still hampered by the weak automotive sector.
