D’hooghe Group is strengthening its transport activities with the complete transport component of machine rental company Vking. The rolling stock that Vking used until today for the transport of its machines (a tractor and two semi-trailers) was integrated into D’hooghe’s own fleet.
From now on, D’hooghe will be your permanent partner for Vking’s machine transport in Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, France and Germany. “Vking is strengthening the focus on rental, sales and service of machines such as shredders and sieves and sorting/picking machines, while D’hooghe Group structurally manages transport planning and implementation. This results in more efficient operation, with faster switching, clear agreements and more scalability during growth,” says Jo De Coninck (manager of Vking).
“We can further structure and scale up machine transport within our ‘heavy transport’ department, with attention to safety and efficiency. The clear division of roles also supports more sustainable implementation through better planning, fewer empty kilometers and more optimal routes,” adds Geert D’hooghe (manager D’hooghe Group).
