CG inspired by Corneel Geerts (just came second in the Transporter of the Year 2026) has received the keys to ten new MAN TGX 18.480 tractors. This investment is partly a replacement and partly an expansion of the current fleet.
CG was named the second laureate of the Transporter of the Year last week. “This recognition underlines the strong growth, clear vision and daily efforts of the entire team. It feels like a victory. We may have silver, but for me everyone on my team is gold,” says Kenneth Geerts.
To continue to look ahead, CG has taken delivery of the first of ten new MAN trucks. “A number of older vehicles have been replaced, while at the same time we are creating additional capacity to support our growth,” says Sven Geerts. “These are long-distance tractors, equipped with the most spacious cabins to guarantee maximum comfort for our drivers. For this investment, CG is working with MAN Antwerp. We rely on the expertise and support of Koen Leus and Joeri De Ryck, with whom we have built a strong and lasting partnership. The new vehicles are specifically used on our international transport lines. Their main destinations are Spain, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and France. These are strategic markets for us, in which we want to further strengthen our presence and service. The new tractors are perfectly suited for routes with more challenging relief, such as in mountainous areas.”
In addition, CG is actively preparing for the next step, where they want to focus on electrification at a national level. “We believe that transport is not just about capacity, but about building sustainable and future-oriented solutions for our customers. That is why today we are preparing in parallel the switch to zero-emission solutions where this is operationally feasible. We can already announce a collaboration with Megacharge in this area.”
