TVS, or Transport Tom van Steenkiste, succeeds Cebeo / Sobe-Log as winner of the Truck Safety Award. At this family business, the safety and well-being of the drivers are not empty slogans: both the care of the equipment and the working procedures contribute to risk prevention. Their strong file convinced the jury, which awarded them the most votes.
The two other winners
Transport Roosensin second place, has more than 75 drivers and none of them are just numbers. The Antwerp company grew strongly, but was able to maintain a family atmosphere, while investing in numerous safety systems, such as dashcams.
Meganck-Collewaert is active with a sand quarry, a concrete plant and earthworks and invests heavily in a very safe fleet, but also in the guidance of drivers through annual action plans and regular toolbox meetings.
