Ahlers Logistics has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Kazakh Azurite Group. The agreement, signed last week, should strengthen the joint activities of both companies in Europe, Central Asia and the Caucasus.
The collaboration focuses on the further development of the so-called Middle Corridor, an increasingly important trade route that connects Europe with Central Asia and the Caucasus. By combining their expertise, regional networks and operational capacity, Ahlers and Azurite aim to improve their services and offer customers more flexibility within Eurasian supply chains.
According to Ahlers CEO Dave van den Bos, the collaboration offers the opportunity to further strengthen the company’s position along this corridor. “This way we can create long-term value for our customers and partners.”
Ahlers Logistics, headquartered in Antwerp, is active in more than 15 countries and specializes in project cargo, secure transport and complex supply chain solutions. Azurite Group has a network of 12 offices in 8 countries.
