The electric Linde Xi Roadster forklift has won the readers’ award “Material Fluss Product of the Year 2026” in the industrial transport vehicle category. The trade magazine materialfluss announced the results on March 5 in Munich.
This year, readers of the trade magazine could vote on 32 products and projects in five categories. The Linde Xi Roadster received the most votes in its category, leaving six other candidates behind.
The Xi Roadster is distinguished by its design without A-pillars. Thanks to patented overhead tilt cylinders, the forward view remains completely unobstructed. The lowered front panel, slim B-pillars and an optional armored glass roof also improve all-round visibility. According to Linde, this increases both safety and productivity, because drivers can see obstacles better and work more efficiently.
The models Xi14 to Xi20 R build on the new generation of electric Xi forklift trucks with integrated lithium-ion battery. They combine a more spacious cabin with powerful synchronous reluctance motors for high performance.
In Belgium, Motrac, part of the Royal Reesink Group, distributes the Linde forklift trucks.
