Last summer, an article appearing on the site of motoring publication ams (auto motor und sport) sparked considerable debate about Volkswagen’s decision to equip its Tiguan with Linglong tyres as original equipment. Linglong issued a statement at the time, and following fresh attention from German news portal Focus Online, VW has now also publicly commented.
