Jungheinrich is expanding its range of electric reach trucks with the new ETV 4i, a model that focuses on maximum handling performance and low costs per pallet. The truck is suitable for loads from 1.4 to 2.5 tons and lift heights up to 14 meters, and is aimed at applications with high turnover rates, such as distribution centers, production environments and multi-shift operations.
The eye-catcher is the high lifting and lowering speed. Thanks to the standard liftPRO function, the ETV 4i achieves a lifting speed of up to 1.5 m/s without load, while loweringPRO enables a lowering speed of up to 1.2 m/s. “No competitor in this class does better,” said Oliver Hißnauer, Product Manager Reach Trucks, during the press event ‘Jungheinrich Innovations & Highlights 2026’ in Hamburg yesterday. “This speed will significantly increase productivity per shift. Additional functions such as reachPRO also increase the insertion speed, which saves time with frequent pallet movements.
The ETV 4i is equipped with a fully integrated lithium-ion battery as standard. This enables short charging times and interim charging, without battery changes or long downtimes, which increases deployability, especially in multi-shift environments.
Thanks to the compact design, the truck is suitable for narrow aisles. Because a classic battery box is missing, the view of the wheel arms and load is optimized, which improves safety. Optional safety systems, such as integrated light strips, load monitoring and a positioning laser, support the driver with safe and efficient stacking.
Ergonomically, the focus was on comfort and ease of use, with a spacious driver’s seat, adjustable steering wheel and armrest and optionally an innovative camera system for accurate load positioning.
